Located at 2630 E 22nd St, Tucson, AZ 85713, Tucson Self Wash operates as a self-service car wash serving Tucson in Arizona. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Tucson, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Arizona, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (520) 909-0975. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, tucsonselfwash.com.

Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 220 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Tucson is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Tucson follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I used to come here all the time. The pressure sprayers and scrub brush just got dirt off that wouldn't come off otherwise. Since the 22nd bridge was closed this place went downhill. Half of the impliments have stopped working. May as well go to one of he automated car washes. Those will do just as well if not better.

Had to continually swipe a credit card because it would only run for 4 minutes unlike other places that just let you finish and charge by the minute. Vacs had decent suction, but probably ran for 30-45 seconds before needing more money. Tried to buy a towel and it was stuck in the machine. Very frustrating. Left before finishing to go elsewhere

When I arrived two bays were closed, I get it, it happens. I chose an open bay and was surprised to find that the amount I normally use to do a pretty thorough washing of my truck only got me about half the wash time I would normally get at the car wash I normally go to on my side of town. The washing amenities are pretty decent so I began to wash my truck and started with the tire/engine cleaner... Then I waited, got a gurgle of soap... And waited... And waited... And waited... Finally after 1 and a half minutes it began working... So I get things soaped up and scrubbed and now I'm ready for the spray rinse... AND THE SPRAY RINSE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WORKING... So I'm stuck with a soapy truck and no way to rinse it off... I ended up having to go to another bay, blow the remaining 9+ minutes I had left, pay MORE money and that bay didn't work to rinse either, luckily the weak spray "spotless rinse" was operating so I got it mostly cleaned off... Simply put I paid 75% more for a half done wash job that I would have been far more satisfied with elsewhere... I wouldn't waste my time going there again. The washing amenities are fairly nice, but what's the point of they don't work?

This spot is legit with pressure that means business and brushes clean enough exfoliate your sins. Management is solid too, cool-headed and on top of things. That said, plan accordingly. Around 10PM the Instagram certified Club de Autos V6 rolls in like a terrible Fast & Furious deleted scene. If you show up then, good luck finding an open bay.

This car wash never disappoints. Plus, the early morning guy is always super friendly, personable and gives comps to his repeat customers. Thank you for keeping a squeaky clean and well maintained facility, Good Sir!
